Show Notes

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Pay per mile insurance is a usage-based insurance model where a driver pays only for the amount of miles driven. The price per mile is dynmically calculated and can be based off of odometer reading, GPS monitoring, or telematics data. In this episode, we hear from Austin Ledgerwood, Head of Strategic Partnerships, for Cover Genius. According to Austin, "There is always a ripple effect when change happens in an industry, and the auto and mobility space is no different. Ridesharing and peer-to-peer services have created a demand for usage-based insurance models, like pay per mile or pay as you drive, which offers drivers various incentives given how much they are driving."
